Nokia N86 pre-order now open
Pssssst, we’ve just heard that Nokia’s incoming 8-megapixel N86 handset has just gone up for pre-order here at home…
The page popped up today over at the official Nokia shop and finally spilt the beans on the SIM-free pricing, which see’s the princely sum of £399 as the only thing standing between you and Nokia’s first 8-megapixel camera phone.
The N86 goes beyond mere megapixels though, the camera is sounding seriously well equipped, including, variable aperture, dual-LED flash, mechanical shutter, autofocus and a system for reducing motion blur.
The handset will come with 8GB of internal memory which is expandable by up to an extra 16GB by utilising the microSD card slot.
And if you’re a webaholic, fear not, this puppy’s packing WiFi and 3G HSDPA up to 3.6Mbps; there’s also Bluetooth and A-GPS on-board to round off the package.
OS-wise it’s packing the Symbian S60 3rd Edition with feature pack 2, which means it comes bundled with lots of lovely software goodness.
If you wanna check it out for yourself then it’s just a click away.
