Firefox 3.5 gets Preview-ed ahead of release
Mozilla has released a post-beta version of its Firefox 3.5 mobile browser this week, although it isn’t yet the finished product
A pre-release version of Firefox 3.5 is now available to download, but Mozilla stress this is not the final release candidate.
Whilst generally stable the 3.5 browser is not yet intended for widespread adoption and this current release, dubbed the Preview, is intended largely for developers.
“While this [preview] release has not yet completed the testing required to be declared a release candidate, it is considered stable for daily browsing use and we appreciate your assistance in helping us test and evaluate this preview release.”
If you’re feeling brave and fancy checking out the new 3.5 Firefox browser for yourself you can grab it from the official Mozilla Firefox Preview page. We’d expect the finished product to follow along shortly after, say, two to three weeks of final testing and feedback on the Preview build. Stay tuned.

You’re linking to the Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 Release, and not the Beta 99 or Preview release that is much newer.
Thanks for pointing that out JDog, we’ve fixed the link now to point to the announcement of the Preview version on the Mozilla blog now.
