EXCLUSIVE: ASUS VX5 1TB SSD Lamborghini notebook UK release date revealed

We’ve just had official confirmation directly from ASUS UK that the highly-specced Lamborghini VX5 laptop will be reaching the UK in August.

We introduced you to the ASUS Lamborghini VX5 a couple of weeks ago with news that the highly desirable notebook will be launching in Italy before the end of the month.

ASUS UK contacted us today to say that the intended launch for the VX5 in the UK is set for August, although the company remained frustratingly steadfast in its refusal to offer pricing details.

Whatever the final number, the VX5 is likely to cost a pretty penny given the specs it’s packing, which include:

• 16-inch 1080p screen
• Nvidia GeForce GT130M
• 4GB DDR3 RAM
• 1TB SSD
• Core 2 Quad Q9000 processor
• ASUS/Lamborghini branding

Now all we need to do is try and contain our excitement until the big day rolls around and as we said before, the thought of a 1TB consumer focused SSD makes us fairly excited indeed.
