Sony Ericsson Idou dated for release and renamed Satio
The incoming Sony Ericsson Idou has finally been given an official release date of October 09, and renamed the Satio along the way…
The Sony Ericsson Idou has been given the new moniker of the Satio and has been announced for release in October of this year.
The Idou Satio has been causing ripples online for a while now, with the most recent rumours correctly slating the 12.1-megapixel handset for an October release.
Aside of the generous snapper, the Satio will arrive with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, 3G HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity and microSD card support. Sony Ericsson has thoughtfully decided to include an 8GB microSD card in the retail box to bolster internal memory.
It’ll even arrive in your choice of colour from Black, Silver and Bordeaux. And of course, under the bonnet there is the Symbian S60 5th Edition operating system keeping everything ticking over.
Unless one of its competitors can beat it to the punch the Satio will be the first 12-megapixel phone to market, we know you don’t strictly need a handset that packs more of a megapixel-punch than most point-and-click digital cameras, but we sure do want one.
