Sony Ericsson X10 (X3) release date revealed
A release date for the X10 AKA the X3, AKA Rachael, has finally surfaced on the Sony Ericsson website…
The pre-registration page for the Sony Ericsson X10, known informally as the Rachael, is now showing a release date of February 10th 2010.
Whilst this is subject to change, those who have followed the X10 and it’s ‘leaked’ snapshots over the past few months now have our blessing to start salivating in anticipation of its arrival.
Packing the fastest processor on the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz, the handset will also have an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED-flash.
Sat atop of the increasingly popular Android OS, the display of the Sony Ericsson X10 is a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The only slightly disappointing part of the spec list is the lowly 1GB internal memory.
The X10 is undoubtedly a much anticipated handset, especially after the lack of success of the X1 with its low specs and static Windows Mobile Software; Sony Ericsson will no doubt be hoping that X10 is the handset to stem the flow of bad news after recent financial and market losses.
