Call of Duty (CoD): Modern Warfare 2 PS3 “Unable to connect” fix *Updated – Patch due by Friday*

If any of you have been having the same problem as us when creating a party in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (CoD:MW2) you’ll be interested to know that we’ve found a fix…

It seems that the stress of some 200,000+ players logged onto the game’s  servers simultaneously is causing a few glitches for the game’s otherwise remarkable launch.

Anyway, the juicy bit.

To fix the problem simply:

• Send your friend an invite
• Tell them not to accept it, but instead to press the PS button and go to account management, then hit triangle. This bring up an option to log out. Do it.
• Get them to log back in again
• Tell them to accept the invite
• Hey presto you’re in the same party!

We knew you fiends would be as happy as us to hear the news so go try it for yourselves and don’t forget to come back and tell us if it works. And then come back and thank us.

***UPDATE***

FourTwoZero has already posted on Twitter saying that there will be a party update available for the game by Friday. Presumably of this week. Screenshot of the Tweet at the top of this post.
