N900 release date showing as November 2nd *Updated*

Could it be true? Could the N900 be just 5 days away from our doorstep?

We’ve just spotted that Amazon has changed its expected delivery date on the Nokia N900 to November 2nd, that’s next monday.

OK, ok we’ve been indulging in our fair share of N900 excitement in the last few weeks, but we just knew that you’d want to know that the N900’s release date is now showing as just a few short days away.

Comments from an official Nokia spokesperson recently confirmed that the Finnish wunderphone would indeed be launching in November 2009, but we had been fearing that “during November” would end up as the end of November.

We’re well aware of the tendency for release dates to change, so we’re not pinning all our hopes on the new date just yet, but if it is true, then we’re just 5-sleeps away from the big day.

As anyone who has clicked that pre-order link will know, the page has been replaced by a “register your interest” screen for the time-being. There’s another pre-order available at the same price of £469.99 from Play.com, currently showing a shipping date of November 20th.
