GETTYPierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of Guardiola's main targets

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The teenage starlet has had a stunning start to his Premier League career with Manchester City and may have already won over manager Pep Guardiola, who has started him twice over experienced striker Sergio Aguero. Everybody here in the club is trying to help me get better every day.

Aguero is 28 and if he has three years left on his contract, I'm pretty sure Aguero wants some assurances that he will get the majority of the playing time.

Aguero confirmed he had had a meeting with his manager, Pep Guardiola, but insisted that: "It was things to do with the club, nothing odd".

"You don't know what happens to Costa come the end of the season and he almost went in the window". I have to help the team as much as I can in these three months, afterwards we'll see what the club wants to do with me. "I want to stay here, of course".

But Sergio Aguero - a man heralded by football and Dream Team fans alike - is now facing the prospect of not being a guaranteed starter at Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus is not the only youngster making waves at City, though, with Toure delighted to see the likes of Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling offering further optimism for the future.

Conte will have to think long and hard as he considers attacking targets in the coming months, but the opportunity to add Aguero to his squad might prove to be irresistible in the summer.

Fabianksi was keen to dwell on the positives with Paul Clement's side a point above the Premier League relegation zone. Could Guardiola decide that Aguero is surplus to requirements?

But Los Blancos could be in for Aguero should he become available in the summer, paving the way for City to target Aubameyang.

Guardiola said: "We were close not to winning the game at 1-1 but I think in 90 minutes we deserved to win in terms of chances".

The Argentine forward has seemingly fallen behind new arrival Gabriel Jesus, who has impressed since he joined from Palmeiras last month.

"We deserved to win".
