Shirtless Vladimir Putin rips into Donald Trump's inauguration on 'SNL'
In mid-January, Trump tweeted that "SNL" was the "worst of NBC". That will change come February 4, when she appears alongside musical guest Alessia Cara.
Alec Baldwin missed this weekend's "Saturday Night Live" but fans of his Donald Trump impression can rejoice - he's hosting the show on February 11. Baldwin once responded to Trump on Twitter, stating that he would stop the impersonations when Trump releases his tax returns. Baldwin was previously tied with Steve Martin for the show's most prolific host. All of these critiques should be taken as badges of honor for the show's writers and actors, given that in November of 2015, they were criticized for normalizing the candidate in allowing him to host the show.
Fan-favorite Alec Baldwin's 17th SNL hosting gig should provide plenty of opportunity to examine President Trump's first few weeks in office.
"Remember", he said in a Russian accent, "we're in this together".
With Baldwin's hilarious and fairly accurate impersonation of Trump, chances are he'll be taking the stage at least a few more times over the next four years to further secure his place in SNL history.
